The modern and practical way to organise wedding presents is to have a gift list. Not only will your list ensure you will not receive half a dozen toasters, it also enables your family and friends to purchase your present knowing their gift is exactly what you want.

It is advisable to complete your list around eight weeks before the date of your wedding. If you can, it helps if you are able to come into our shop and have a look around prior to making an appointment to see our consultant.

A master copy of your list will be kept by our store and a copy will be sent to you. In order to avoid confusion we suggest you do not duplicate copies of your wedding list to your guests as we would not then be able to keep track of items being sold. However, if you are aware that gifts have been purchased elsewhere, please let us know so we can cross them off your list.

We value your business and will do our utmost to ensure everything goes smoothly in the weeks before your wedding day.

Gift tagging of gifts

All gifts will be gift wrapped free of charge and clearly tagged with any message provided by your guests. You will receive a print out after your wedding showing the names and addresses of your guests and the present they purchased.

Special orders

If you choose items which are not available from stock we will happily order those items for you. To avoid carriage charges we only place orders to the appropriate supplier on your behalf once, so there may be a delay in some cases.

Free delivery

All gifts can be delivered FREE of charge within our delivery area.

Guests who visit the store can choose a gift and leave it for us to deliver or, if they prefer, take the gift with them. On purchase, the item will be deleted from the master list.

When ordering by phone guests can pay using their credit card or by sending a cheque. We will automatically forward the receipt and order confirmation to the guest.

Our gift to you: free gift vouchers

We give the bride and groom gift vouchers equal to 10% of the total value purchased from the wedding list (including gift vouchers chosen in lieu of gifts). You can spend these vouchers anywhere in the store.

Letting your guests know about the list

As part of our service we supply, free of charge, cards for you to enclose with your wedding invitations explaining how our wedding gift service operates.

Delivery

Before your wedding we discuss with you the arrangements for delivery. It is worth bearing in mind that we do continue to sell quite a number of gifts on the day of the wedding itself and sometimes after as well. Often the bride and groom find it is more convenient to take delivery of the gifts after their wedding day. However you can pick up your gifts yourself or arrange delivery before the wedding too.
